TINY HOUSE REDEFINED

REDEFINE Custom Homes is redefining the Tiny House concept. We, at REDEFINE, do not believe in misconceptions. We do not build or equate McMansions to Luxury Homes nor do we build Mobile Sheds and pass them off as Tiny Houses.

Reasons why some of our Clientele build our "Not-So-Big-House" Plans:

  • Easier to clean and maintain
  • Have a tiny environmental impact
  • Generate more free time
  • Mentally and physically freeing

Other reasons why:

  • Downsizing
  • 2nd homes
  • Vacation homes
  • Backyard additions
  • Guest houses
"I wanted to have a place that is beautiful, but not overbearing on my life, especially since I have multiple homes." Lisa Van Allan

Ms. Van Allan built a custom 1,085 sq ft home. It had energy efficient insulation, stained and heated concrete floors, metal roof, painted ENERGY STAR Single Hung Windows, Ipe Shiplap Siding, an $8,000 LED lighting package, and Viking appliances in excess of $48,000.

"I wanted the house to be everything I needed it to be and nothing more." Lisa Van Allan

Smaller luxury custom homes are gaining traction for the Quality of Life conscience Clientele. REDEFINE Custom Homes' small house concept can be best summarized by Ms. Van Allan again:

"I also wanted to live the 'Not-So-Big-Life.' The sense of 'home' I was seeking had nothing to do with size and everything to do with quality, style, and smart design. I want to use every square inch of my new home and fully inhabit each moment of my life." Lisa Van Allan
